My name is Saara Vilokkinen and I am the new communications specialist of Fintech Finland. Nice to meet you!
I joined FinFin last week to boost the Finnish financial technology ecosystem together with our CEO Kirsi Suopelto, aiming to make Finland an international hub for fintech development and innovation.
I am excited about this new role because it has already proven to be interesting and a great opportunity to learn many new things working with different stakeholders in the field of this rapidly developing industry.
I am a soon-to-be Master of Arts in communication and a Bachelor of Business Administration specialized in international business and marketing. I have previous work experience in communications, marketing and sales both in big international companies and smaller start-ups. I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to the financial sector, but I have previously worked in the field of technology, so I am eager to learn more about the possibilities these two create together!
I am looking forward to meet all of you, our members and other active parties of the Finnish fintech ecosystem, in the future. See you soon!
